Laje de Santos - SP
One of the best diving spots in Brazil.
Located about 45 km from the coast, it is part of the Laje de Santos Marine State Park, a Permanent Protection Area that houses the main formation, the tip of a 500m long mountain; 143m wide and 35m high.
It shelters many birds and is home to a multitude of marine species. Its location makes it an obligatory passage for large migratory pelagics, especially the incidence of manta rays.
The park includes not only Laje de Santos, but also Parcéis do Bandolim, das Âncoras, Brilhante, do Sul and Novo, in addition to the Rocks known as Calhaus.
Its water with excellent visibility, low cost and proximity to the capital of São Paulo makes this one of the most attractive places for diving.
